Keep safe: A few health reminders

We have been posting RDA dance class videos, performance choreography & FREE on-line dance classes to our social media sites & as well as emailing out videos and info. We have also been posting pictures and videos from our zoom journey together. Please look out for everything and share with your dancer.

We really do appreciate your patience, understanding and support as we work through these difficult times.

When we do return to RDA we will have a wide variety of classes of all styles for each age group and level available daily. We will work with parents and dancers and accommodate schedules as much as we can when we return to give each dancer make up lessons if needed and also allow as much time as needed to make up the lessons. This will be a great chance to try out a new class, style of dance or teacher if you would like once we get back and the situation has improved.

Reminders of the ways we will keep RDA safe when we return to on site classes

The health of our families and dancers, as well as the health of our staff and teachers, are of great importance to us and we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment. The studio will be wiping down bars between classes, we have added hand sanitizer to all classrooms, lobby, restrooms and front desk area, consistently disinfecting mats and props, monitoring students health while at RDA and will keep the students at a distance from one another as much as possible. We will keep class sizes smaller and limit how many parents and students we allow in each room per class/session/ rehearsal. Studio deep cleanings have taken place and will continue. We will do our best follow CDC recommendations on how to proceed daily.

-Please keep your children at home for at least 24 hours after they show no signs illness if they have been sick.

-Please remind and encourage your children to wash their hands frequently for at least 20 seconds at a time especially before eating and avoid sharing food and drinks

-Please remind your kids to cover their nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing and wash/disinfect their hands afterwards

-Your child should stay home if they have the following symptoms:

  • Fever over 100 degrees, Cough, Sneezing/runny nose
  • Vomiting or diarrhea (within the last 24 hours)

Additionally, if any parents, students, staff have displayed any of the above-mentioned symptoms, they should not enter RDA. If a child is brought to class with any of these symptoms, they will not be allowed to participate in class and will be sent home. An opportunity to make-up the absence will of course be available.
